Montalcino, ViniBuoni d'Italia

5 September 2011
Lots of “good news” for getting back in gear after the summer holidays for a motivated dash toward a brilliant close for the year.

To our great satisfaction, the specialized press and the great sector events continue to reward our wines with significant prizes and mentions. Some of the most important are listed below:

Tenimenti Angelini’s Simposio Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2007 and TreRose Vin Santo di Montepulciano 1999 have been selected for the Merano Wein Festival. The event will be held – as it is every year – in the prestigious Kurhaus venue on 5, 6, and 7 November.

More good news comes on the eve of the closing date for the Touring Club’s Vini Buoni d’Italia guide. The organization awarded our  Collepaglia Verdicchio Classico Superiore dei Castelli di Jesi 2010 the coveted Corona (its top prize).

Tenimenti Angelini has been invited to participate, with its wines, at the Salumi in Villa event, to be held at Villa Braida (Mogliano Veneto – TV) on 22, 23, and 24 October. A gastronomic fair for an elite public, organized by Alberto Marcomini, featuring tasting sessions and dinners with such great interpreters of Italian gastronomy as Giancarlo Pierbellini, Norbert Niederkofler, and Enrico Bartolini. The detailed event program follows.

Just a few days ago, we learned that the Guida Vini dell’Espresso has honored our Val di Suga Brunello di Montalcino 2006 with its Eccellenza award. The award and Guide presentation ceremony will take place on 6 October, like last year at Florence’s ancient San Lorenzo market.

And finally, we have been selected by well-known journalist Gigi Brozzoni (Seminario Permanente Luigi Veronelli) for inclusion on the “500 Vini Centro Italia” annual publication: this year three of our wines will be described in the guide:
Monsenese Chianti Classico Riserva 2006, Val di Suga Brunello di Montalcino 2006, TreRose Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2008
